      I like the dark but simple comics in Reza s POORLY DRAWN LINES The humor and oddball situations mix beautifully with the straightforward art style, which is absolutely the right choice.The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the book description said the book was a collection of comics and essays, so I was hoping to see some of Reza sharing his creative process instead of humorous story vignettes.Definitely an enjoyable book and I look forward to future collections.

      The art is simplicity at it s finest, the scenarios are bizzare, and the wit is oh so sharp Much to my surprise, there are several short stories and essays in this collection, and they are exquisite Finding them as enjoyable as I did, they were a pleasant diversion from the stellar illustrated material.
