   We purchased this item for our 2.5 year old son To help him get ready for our second child to arrive in May 2017.This has become one of his favorite books to read at bed time The illustrations are very cute and simple The images depict everyday life with a baby and a toddler He especially likes the picture of the dirty diaper.I think he has most of the book memorized by now.This is a great book for anyone with a toddler and expecting another child.

   This is such a cute book to give to an expecting brother.It is gender neutral for the baby, so its great for a gift even early on.The pictures are so cute and the language has a lovely rhyme and sentiment.I love this book and would recommend it highly.

   We bought this book for our toddler shortly after I found out I was pregnant We read it a handful of times throughout my pregnancy however, about a month before my due date we began to read it nightly We used it to talk about his role as a big brother and how he could be our helper He was exactly 2.5 when his baby brother was born and immediately became an amazing big brother He would ask to read this book after his brother s arrival and tell me how he had done the things from the book to help I [...]

   We ve read this several times already and my son loves it He likes to tell me what is happening in the pictures and the sing song like rhythm of this book makes it fun to read and listen to sometimes I add extra information to the story as he s 4 and we re using this to help him learn what s okay and not okay with baby, ie it good to play with baby as long as we re really soft and gentle because babies are fragile As a result he often adds to the story too which makes for a great learning teachi [...]
