   Summary Good addition to my cello library with 60 songs and reasonably good canned CD orchestral and cello accompaniments, definitely worth the price.I bought this book with CD since I recognized some titles, but discovered I like the songs I did not know better than the ones I do know Most of these songs are from various Star Wars, Harry Potter, James Bond, and Wizard of Oz movies Many of the movie soundtracks have a modern classical feel, but some can start to sound a bit similar.Some of the 1 [...]

   A good collection of solo pieces from recent movies, especially Lord of the Rings, Bond and Star Wars Some pieces are only snippets, just enough to here the theme but a few, especially from Harry Potter are multiple pages of solo work The accompaniment CD is very good Although it can t be manipulated like some others tempo or key change it provides an excellent full orchestra and accompaniment track A couple songs have very little solo work so without the CD playing along there are 16 measures o [...]

   I lost a smaller book of Alfred Publishing s movie instrumental solos a couple years ago during travels, and had not replaced it until I discovered the existence of this MASSIVE songbook Well worth the price and then some The pieces are of a difficulty level that will challenge intermediate players and still provide some fun for advanced musicians such as myself Definitely fun pieces to play and keep up my skill level with I m also impressed with the quality of the orchestral accompaniment CD I [...]

   This is a great book for intermediate clarinet players It also comes with downloads for piano accompaniment and the CD My son is a 9th grader and he really enjoys the selection of songs Some are easy and some are a bit of a challenge, but overall a fun way to keep him practicing We converted the CD to load into his Ipod.

   This has been the best book of songs My girls play the cello and trombone and they love being able to play the same music together And I love that they are excited to play They did have to ask their music teachers how to play a note or two from a couple of the pieces, which tells me it was prefect for their intermediate levels.
