      I picked this up at a small bookstore in BrooklynI flipped to a page and read His face shown at dusk so odd yet so pleasing When he caught me his fevered embrace I bought it immediately Was excited to see this was inspired by quotes from serial killers As a true crime fan and muderino check out the My Favorite Murder podcast this collection of poems excited me I recommend

      I didn t understand this book the first time, I read it again it s very short , it really is amazing the way Sims uses turning the page like breaking the line or stanza in a poem The effect on the reader is greater though My God Is This A Man is a small work of genius pulling from confessions of many twisted, convicted men Sims explores the body and what it means to a woman, and a man The body is a field she writes, and the field, a body.
