   The Big Book of Dinosaurs is an informational picture book that shows and gives facts of many different types of dinosaurs It shows the similarities between dinosaurs and animals that are around today in order for kids to be able to have a better understanding The only thing about this book is that it was not very organized I would be able to use this book for when I am teaching about nonfiction but it is not a book I would use because there are many better books than this one The organization i [...]

   While I cringe at the copyright date every time my son asks for this book at bedtime I think we have read it 10 times since Christmas it does still have some relevant information for budding dinosaur enthusiasts AND He will never turn it loose now, having found his new favorite dinosaur, the Carnotaurus, a prominant feature of the Dinosaur ride at Disney s Animal Kingdom, listed in the Mighty Meat Eaters section No matter the quality of the writing or the imaginative illustrations, a pub date of [...]
