   Du grand Lovecraft pl onasme et en vers s il vous plait N cessite de s accrocher pour le lire en V.O mais le jeu en vaut la chandelle et vous vite de vous frotter une certain nombre de traductions qui feraient rire par leur trahisons ou pr tentions, voir n un uisme, si elles ne participaient pas d un assombrissement de l image de HPL.

   Fungi de Yuggoth et autres po mes fantastiques ne r sume pas tout le talent po tique de Lovecraft il vaut mieux acqu rir pour cela l anthologie parue aux ditions Laffont Mais le meilleur s y trouve, NEO ayant fait le choix des r cits les plus fantastiques de HPL.On trouve dans la premi re partie deux l ments r curents chez lui la nostalgie de la Vieille Angleterrre dans laquelle il aurait aim vivre A propos d un village en est un cas exemplaire , mais on la retrouve dans nombre de po mes bas s s [...]

   Sans doute l une des meilleures ditions Pouvoir lire le po me la fois en anglais et en fran ais permet d une part de mieux comprendre ce que Lovecraft a voulu dire lorsque le vocabulaire fran ais vient manquer , et d autre part de corriger soi m me la traduction, qui n est pas toujours exemplaire bien que tr s satisfaisante dans son ensemble.

   This CD is an absolute must for any Lovecraft fan First a little background In the mid 1980 s Fedogan and Bremer released a audio edition Lovecrafts Sonnet Cycle on cassette It went out of print and was never redone until now In this remarkable CD edition F B has certainly out done themselves The original cassette was a straight recording of the Fungi from Yuggoth and really, to be honest was well done but nothing remarkable.Now with the release of the CD a second CD has been included Harold Far [...]

   if would allow me to give fractions of stars, this would get 4.75 I am an avid reader of all things lovecraft in fact, this book completed my collection of all of his works my primary issue with this book, which is honestly a non issue, is the line spacing on the sonnets For one unfamiliar with sonnet structure, this will mean nothing Every sonnet in this book, regardless of form, is written with a space separating an octave from a sestet the first 8 lines separated from the last 6 , as to say [...]

   It was probably in 2011 I discovered this eldritch to use one of Lovecraft s favorite words version of Fungi via a mutilated YouTube video Since then, I ve been craving a properly respectful CD reissue Here it is at last.Lovecraft s best writing is, of course, his weird fiction Most of his poetry recreates the polite verses of the Georgian poets However Fungi and a few other things stand apart as being connected to the atmosphere of cosmic menace in his weird tales.F B s original recording was i [...]
